For brokers who quote employer health plans
Quote the group. Skip the spreadsheet work.
Drop in whatever the employer sent you: the payroll census, the renewal letter, the invoice, the benefit summaries. heallium hands back a carrier-ready census, the quote request for your general agent, and a side-by-side proposal once the quotes come in.
From the group's files to the proposal
One workspace per group, four steps, and you stay the one who decides.
-
1
Clean the census
Upload the census in whatever layout payroll or the carrier produced: one row per person or one row per family. Waivers come out, tiers are standardized to EE, ES, EC and FAM, zips and tiers flow to every dependent, and anything missing is flagged.
-
2
Ask for what is missing
Missing birth dates, genders and documents are gathered into one email to the employer, drafted for you. Their answers drop straight back into the census.
-
3
Request the quotes
Send the quote request to your general agent with the census in the layout they want, including their own template, and the renewal and benefit summaries attached.
-
4
Compare and propose
Quotes are priced for the group's actual tiers and matched to the closest plan to what the group has today, with a verdict against the renewal. Pick the plans and send the employer a proposal with the comparison attached.
Built around how brokers actually quote
Your general agent's own template
Upload the blank census your GA sends once, confirm the columns, and every census after that is written into their actual file with the logo and instructions intact.
Compliance checklist per group
The group's size and shape decide which rules apply: ACA employer mandate, COBRA or state continuation, Medicare secondary payer, Form 5500, waiting periods. See them for each group and send the employer a reminder.
Ask about the quotes
Ask how the plans compare, what changes against the renewal, or for wording for the proposal letter. Answers come only from the group's own documents, and say so when the documents do not show it.
Your clients' data, handled with care
A census holds employees' and dependents' names and birth dates. heallium treats it that way.
Encrypted, and only kept as long as you need it
A cleaned census and its PDFs are encrypted with AES-256 and kept for 30 days, so you can fill in what the employer sends back. Then they are deleted automatically, or sooner when you delete them.
Two-factor authentication, always
Every tool that shows a census needs an authenticator app or SMS codes on the account, and sessions sign out after 30 idle minutes.
AI that sees as little as possible
Reading an unfamiliar census layout, the model sees only the header row and a handful of sample rows, and answers with column positions, never member data. The deterministic engine does the rest.
Yours, not ours
We never sell your data or your clients' data, and never use it for advertising. Export your account data or close your account from Settings at any time.
Your next renewal, without the copy and paste
Create an account, set up two-factor authentication, and drop in the next group's files.
